Deacon and martyr with Sts. Gurias and Samonas. Abibus served the Church in Edessa, in Syria, where he was arrested during the persecutions of co-Emperor Licinius. The three were burned alive and buried together.

These 3 saints seem to be very popular in Orthodoxy. There are many icons of them. Samonas, is often depicted as an old man, Gurias is often shown as a middle aged man and Abibus, as a young man without a beard. - Try Google Images
