LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The New York Times reported that this PAC would likely "be overseen by Phil Cox," a former executive director of the Republican Governors Association, who served during the same time that Christie chaired the organization.

Kenneth Langone, a billionaire and longtime Christie supporter, is hosting a dinner for the governor later in January. It has also been reported that Langone will not seek another term with the Republican National Committee, and will instead likely join Christie on a presidential campaign. Langone is a major fundraiser for the Republican party.
Still, advisers and officials close to Christie deny that he will make an official presidential announcement soon, despite the announcement that Florida Governor Jeb Bush will seek the Republican nomination.

Mitt Romney has also started to mobilize his former campaign staffers from his 2012 run, though he has not made an official announcement.
Christie has been on a cross-country tour of several states for inaugural swearing-in ceremonies of Republican governors who won office in the 2014 midterm. On January 21 he will attend a ceremony in Maryland, which will end this good-will seeking tour.
