Islamic State BEHEADS four CHRISTIAN CHILDREN when they refused to renounce Christ and convert to ISLAM

Islamic State terrorists have beheaded four children who refused to convert to Islam according to the British Vicar of Baghdad, Canon Andrew White.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - According to Canon Andrew White, Islamic State terrorists have beheaded a man's four children after they refused to convert to Islam.

Canon White's retelling of a man's account was released in the press on Dec. 9, and is chilling. It reveals the ruthlessness with which the Islamic State operates. Motivated by a simple directive, to convert people to Islam upon pain of death, the terrorists have rooted out Christians and other non-Muslims and given them a simple choice: convert or die.

White told the following story which is republished in Jihad Watch:

He spoke of how ISIS has "hounded" the Christians out of Iraq, and how "they killed in huge numbers, they chopped their children in half, they chopped their heads off, and they moved north and it was so terrible what happened".

He told the network that militants "came to one of our people the other day, one of the Christians".

"They said to one man, an adult, 'Either you say the words of conversion to Islam or we kill all your children'.

"He was desperate, he said the words. And then he phoned me, and said, 'Abouna [Father], I said the words, does that mean that Yeshua doesn't' love me anymore?' I said, 'Yeshua still loves you, he will always love you".

Canon White claimed that the children who were beheaded had refused to "follow Mohammed"..

"ISIS turned up and said to the children, 'You say the words that you will follow Mohammed'."
"The children, all under 15, four of them, said no, we love Yeshua, we have always loved we have always followed Yeshua, Yeshua has always been with us.

"They said: 'Say the words.' They said 'No, we can't.' They chopped all their heads off. How do you respond to that? You just cry."

Technically, non-Muslims have the choice to flee or pay the Jizya, which is a form of tribute to the Islamic State. Although the opportunity to flee has now passed, some Christians are reportedly paying the tax. Those who fall behind however are being imprisoned until their family can pay. These individuals are imprisoned rather than killed simply because the Islamic State wants money to fund its operations.

Militants seem to have a lot of latitude in how they enforce Islamic State law and as a result some victims don't get the same choices. Whereas some children might be enslaved or kidnapped, these four children were simply killed because the militants who detained them decided arbitrarily to do so.

The arbitrary enforcement of Islamic State law serves to terrorize the population, keeping criticism and dissent at bay.

Officially, according to most mainstream Islamic sources, the Qur'an forbids forced conversion, however militant Islamists are abiding by a different interpretation of their scriptures and following to the letter Mohammed's orders that non-Muslims are to be given the chance to convert, pay, or will be put to the sword. This brand of Islam remains a blight for all humanity and an existential threat to peace and all humankind. We must pray that it comes to an abrupt end as the perpetrators recognize the evil of their ways and are brought to justice, and we must act to serve those reduced to need because of the evils of the Islamic State and militant Islam.
