Obamacare Begins Child Sterilization, Without Parental Consent
Scandalous provision quietly takes effect in Oregon.
With back-to-school season in full swing across the nation, parents in Oregon have more to worry about than shopping for sweaters and purchasing pencils. In the state of Oregon, the Obamacare mandate, which went into effect on August 1, 2012, provides free sterilizations to girls as young as fifteen. Now, your daughter, your high school freshman, can choose, without your consent, to be permanently sterilized.
Children can be sterilized under Obamacare.
The "Required Health Plan Coverage Guidelines" set forth by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services states: "Non-grandfathered plans and issuers are required to provide coverage without cost-sharing consistent with these guidelines in the first plan year.that begins on or after August 1, 2012.All [FDA] approved contraceptive methods, sterilization procedures, and patient education and counseling for all women with reproductive capacity."
Under Oregon State Law, the state's revised statutes (ORS) defines "informed consent" for 15-year-olds independently pursuing reproductive sterilization as being "(a) Based upon a full understanding of the nature and consequences of sterilization pursuant to information requirements set forth in ORS 436.225(1); (b) Given by an individual competent to make such a decision; and (c) Wholly voluntary and free from coercion, express or implied."
So you need parental consent to contract a state-sanctioned marriage under the age of 18 in the U.S., but you, all by yourself, can give full consent to the irreversibility of sterilization at 15? Chances are, you do not even know your future spouse, yet you're already determining his or her fate as well?
Oregon's consent form, specific for the sterilizations of 15 to 20-year-olds, reads, "I understand that the sterilization must be considered permanent and not reversible. I have decided that I do not want to become pregnant, bear children or father children." In the case that the patient does not speak or read English, an interpreter is permitted to assist the patient "to the best of [his] knowledge and belief" in the signing away of the patient's reproductive capacity.
Could there be any easier way to push the next generation towards mass sterilization?
What's even more frightening is that this story has largely flown under the radar of major news sources, save a few sparse reports. Apparently, teenage sterilization does not seem to be a major concern, in spite of the fact that birthrates in the western hemisphere are all but sustainable.
I forgot - HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is trying to save us taxpayer dollars. Back in March, she said, "The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception." "Exitus acta probat" (Latin for "the result justifies the deed") should be the motto of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Congressman Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) admitted, "I don't know anything about free sterilization. I don't know anything about that. I'm sorry. The answer is: 'I don't'. But I don't think anybody is proposing that." Obviously, Nancy Pelosi was not kidding when she mentioned that the way to find out what is in a bill these days is to pass it.
Parents in each of the remaining forty-nine states, brace yourselves. We're about to watch this bill unravel across the country's map.

When a nation falls below the repopulation level, that nation is only one generation from oblivion. If you refer back to the history of man as recorded in Biblical events, when a nation was conquored, the males were killed or neutered. The young women were captured and sent into slavery. Young male children were castrated ... ( think of Daniel ) and indoctrinated with the religion and culture of the captors.
Still into the 20TH Century ... 1950's ... sterilization was practiced by governmental agencies to handle " problem individuals " who were judged to be mentally defecient or physically impaired. Even today, prospective parents are advised to abort the baby because pre-natal testing shows a possible problem if the child is allowed to be born. Most of these tests are not accurate and parents who ignore their doctor's advice give birth to perfectly normal children.
ObamaCare must be repealed and the only way to get that done is to vote for Romney/Ryan this Nov. 6..... Vote for America
If your Congressman doesn't know what's in a bill, that's just crazy. To assume he knows what's in a bill is crazy, too; nothing wrong with giving these "legislators" a little help. Read the bill, voice your objection in writing, keep a copy, and call bullshipt when he/she feigns ignorance. Why can't we just sue the bastards? They're all lawyers. Only loophole that works on a lawyer is the one made of -----.
It is true that Obama is anti-Christian, however,it is shameful that Catholics voted him in and still support him. They must believe in secular charity as the democrats have made it clear that they hate God !
Rob, I was around long before EPA and no place looked like a toilet anywhere I lived or traveled around in America. Yes, the ghettos looked pretty rough as they still do. EPA had no effect either way. It's simply a tool for the Marxists in the Party of Death and Deceit to kill our industries and free markets capitalism. You are right about our financing China's military build up by buying cheep products. If this country ever hopes to regain its manufacturing, the people are going to need to Vote Out Obama and the Party of Death and Deceit,do away with the EPA, access all of our energy resources to make energy cheap, create a Right-to-Work nation where no one is forced to join a union, and reform our tax system to be flat and fair so that the 50% that are paying no taxes will have skin in the game. It's a tall order but it can be done.
Judy, Your niece is about to be joined by millions more college grads who will come out of college to find an empty bag. This is so evil because this is done deliberately by a 'Domestic Enemy' of America, Barrak Hussein Obama. It's getting to the point now where I feel like throwing something at my TV when I hear some fool GOPer say, "Obama is a nice guy who doesn't know what he is doing". Obama is not a nice guy and he does know what he is doing. with the full support of the Party of Death and Deceit. The God Hating fools who are cheering him on at their convention have no clue that if their Puppet Master gets his way, they will suffer as hard any of their Hated Catholics and GOPers. I am working hard to get out the vote to defeat our enemies at the polls. I wish your niece good luck and hope she finds something.
Rob, I sincerely agree. It is the people that have been in office who are responsible. But they are not alone. There were some bad voters. Or again, "There wasn't much to choose from".
When Moses went to the mountain top tp receive the Ten Commandments, what did Moses find when he came down the mountain? People forgot all too soon their God who had saved them. I think perhaps this is how we are now. People leaving the Church to do as they please, instead of obeying God. It is so sad. Especially knowing the Bible. Of course even the Ten Commandments the government takes out. And "Merry Christmas". Prayers in school. How radically have we changed in 50 years! of course, Easter was always, the Easter Bunny, Parades, Bonnets, and candy. Only Catholics were strange.
JoAnn, The Transition will be easier for some Protestant brothers and sisters, because of how commercial Everything is. What an Evil Web!
Vance, I agree with you regarding the fact that wal-mart checkers was never meant to be a career job. But sadly given the flight of all of our labor out of the country, it is becoming that. You just don't see young people at these stores, in fact, I rarely see young people at these stores. The opportunity to find good paying jobs has been in short supply for quite awhile. We've argued the point of labor many times, but when wal-mart uses factories in Chinia, Indonesia etc that pay $.18 cents an hour, do you really think that they are thinking EPA as the primary driver regarding where to put these factories? I won't disagree with you, the EPA needs to be reigned in for certain things, but personally I don't want the place I live to look like the countries where we have shifted all this work. I prefer not to live in a place that looks like a toilet. As for unions, well Wal-mart has very little union activity so that example doesn't work for this giant. And sadly as the top dog, they set the pace for everyone to follow. What we've accepted as capitalism has turned to something that I personally believe isn't patriotic. And sadly the American people have traded US prosperity for cheap, foreign made junk. Few get rich, more people find themselves unable to find meaningful work and we inadvertantly strengthen our enemies. We worry about Iran meanwhile we are financing the greatest military buildup in our history.
Judy, our lack of investment in our youth is going to have disastourous consequences for our country. In the era of technology and world finance we find ourselves in, it amazes me that proposal after proposal is out there to make it harder for young people to obtain an education. So many of the countries we compete with subsidize the costs of their young people to go to college with amazing results. And as we sink further and further behind we scratch our heads and wonder why.
Vance, My neice is one of those college grads. She had a hard time finding a job in her major: Social Science. Then, one industry offered her a job at $13 an hr.! Talk about insult! Plus she would have to drive (gas $) 30 min. to and from work each way. Wear and tear on her car. Plus clothes! She opted Not to have the glorious job. She is 26, w/asthma and occasional health problems.
She is keeping her part time job as bar tender, which she likes, and makes more money than $13 an hr.! She will work there 3 days awk., going back to college, 3 days awk., 1 day off. It is sad.
My oldest granddaughter is in college, but when she gets out is anyone's guess, due to Ca. lack of College Funding. She lives at home. Has a part time job. It seems that kids nowadays, are having a Hard time being able to leave the nest financially.
Keep Posting! Blessings...
Rob, WalMart is a poor analogy. Being a Store Clerk was never a "Career" job. Whether it is WalMart, Sears, Costco or whatever, Store Clerks were and still are high school or college students, married women supplementing their husbands' salaries. A "Career" job was working for an industrial plant like the auto industry or in construction like a carpenter or plumber. These were decent paying jobs where one could buy a house and its furnishings and a new Chevy for the garage. Of course there always was the business sector where one could work as an accountant, or in a management capacity to earn a decent living where one can support a family. Big greedy Unions and 'Tricky Dick' Nixon's EPA have all but wiped out our industries leaving the 'Rust Belt' in its wake. Now, we have 50% of college grads not being able to find work in their field of studies. These are who are now working for Wal Mart these days. If Obama gets another chance, he will make sure that it is 100% of the grads without work.
** Why is the title of this article "Obamacare Begins Child Sterilization, Without Parental Consent?" This Oregon law has been on the books since 1983.
